Aroo!

Today I completed my first Spartan Sprint Race...I learned a lot about myself today. It is a very humbling experience to do a obstacle mud race alone knowing I have a fear of heights, water and getting wet.
Knowing when you need help and asking for it is one of the things I learned today.

16 years and counting-part 1

It was Thanksgiving 1998 & there was Love@AOL. I've never posted an add much less something like this. It was new and exciting.
16 years later...after being married for almost 11 years, 2 kids later we find our selves here celebrating our journey...and what a blessed journey it has been.
He kept it a secret as to where we were staying but he did say we will be at the Gaslamp District in San Diego.
I like surprises so I went along. He know by now how picky I am about places we stay at...so I felt (somewhat) confident about his choice. Left the kids at my sister in laws place so the kids can spend time with their cousins since we will all be out of town for the Christmas Holiday.

What 3 day weekends are for

Every parent deserves time for themselves to reconnect and destress from our every day life.
This past weekend was just that for me. From Hollywood to Anaheim and a Hello Kitty Adventure day...I'd say it was weekend of making memories.
